The Australian Laser Championship was successfully started yesterday with a shifty 10-15 kn breeze that made racing tactically difficult. No surprise, that the Olympian Tom Slingsby AUS dominated the fleet of the Lasers Standard with two race wins, followed by Ashley Brunning AUS. The Lasers Radial (96 participants) sail in two fleets. After the first day, Eliott Noye AUS leads one point ahead of Laura Baldwin AUS.
