Laser - Australian Championship 2010 - Adelaide AUS - Day 2

Very light and shifty winds between 5 and 8 kn favoured above all the light-weights in the three fleets. Only Tom Slingsby AUS had no problems coping with these conditions and he collected another two bullets in the races 3 and 4 of the Lasers Standard. The new second is now Kacper Zieminski POL, ahead of Ashley Brunning AUS who could defend the 3rd place. In the fleet of the 95 Lasers Radial, the Malaysian junior Khairulnizam Mohd-Afendy MAS has taken the lead in front of Sehng-Leong Koh SIN and Laura Baldwin AUS. Terence Choo SIN remains on the first place with the Lasers 4.7. With two day wins, Benjamin Walkemeyer AUS did advance to the 2nd place. Today, a frontal system is expected that should bring some fresher winds around 20 kn. The results will probably be posted around noon European time on the event-website.
