Excellent sailing conditions again were awaiting the competitors. A breeze of 20-25 knots from S-SE, and given the islands sheltered waters, waves of only 0.5 – 1m. Even the sun shined for a few hours. Three 60 minutes races were complete for all fleets, and most of the competitors were already on shore by half past three. Two or three broken masts and some egos were the only serious casualties of the day. Very few, if any, protests are expected as the competitors really behaved themselves. The international jury had indeed very little work to do.
After 6 races and one drop kicking in, day 3 leaders cemented their positions.
In the Standards Sergey Komissarov is leading over his Russian compatriot Maksim Semerkhanov and Silvan Hofer (SUI). In the |Radial fleet Nenad Bugarin (CRO), Milivoj Dukic (MNE) and Sebastian Buehler are the leaders.
Amongst the 4.7 three Croatians are on top of the ladder board: Anite Mujiza, Dino Sindik and Luka Jedretic.
For the 4th and final day two races are scheduled. If completed, another drop will be possible with some reshuffle of the leader boards. The weather forecast looks promising.
